The relevant book for the letter burn/refusal has been out nearly seven years now. If you can't manage to read and you need a television show with pretty actors to get the storyline to you, that's your damage, but there's seriously a moratorium on spoilers, even with a "new" medium for that shit coming out. Hint: It's fucking passed, quit whining about spoilers.

Thanks for implying I only care about the show. Actually I've only seen one episode of the show and am trying to get through all the books which is not that easy since the waiting lists to get them from the library are really, really long.

People warn for spoilers all the time for popular stuff that's been out for a long time. I'm not the only person who is still getting through the canon material and it really ruins a lot of the fun to find out stuff like this. Especially when something that's been out for a long time has a surge in popularity for whatever reason - I know you probably think a TV show is a dumb reason, but fact is it makes the whole thing more popular. Adding a spoiler tag is not hard, it takes a few seconds, and when it's an event that happens relatively late in a popular series it's the considerate thing to do.

At least one commenter warned for spoilers in their comments. I doubt it was a big ordeal for them.

Ok, no. The TV show is a new medium and it stands alone. It's different than the books. And the TV show is only on season 2. The secret was tagged for Game of Thrones, not ASOIAF or whichever particular book this info is from. The secret IS a spoiler for the TV series and I was a bit irked by it. Not because I "can't manage to read," but because I've just started watching the show and fully intend to read the books, but sometimes people find out about things later. Your post is whiny, entitled, and just plain rude. And IDGAF really if or what you reply to this, but just...yeah. You suck.

Btw, OP, this isn't really directed at you - like I said, it was a bit annoying but I wasn't going to say anything. But anon I'm replying to just pissed me off.
