That's not what most people are probably imagining. This secret doesn't imply a uncontrollable overtired random case of the giggles, it says it's giggling at a poem because it was shitty. They couldn't get over how shitty they thought the poem was so they laughed openly at the person. That's not a case of random giggles or strong emotions or whatever, that's a case of being an immature ass. And it's not a case of ALL LIFE EVER OMG it's a very specific situation that this person was being immature about.

Have you never taken a creative writing or workshop course where part of the process is sharing your work with the group? Because honestly not seeing how people aren't understanding how rude and inappropriate this was. It's not a thing where the class was all having a good time laughing at different works as a group - it was one person openly laughing/mocking one person sharing their work in what should have been a relatively safe and mature group setting.
