When my tinnitus gets really bad, I have a sound in (usually) my right ear that goes eeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE and I feel like I'm being stabbed in the ear. If you've ever seen the first episodes of Supernatural, Season 4 and Castiel is trying to "talk" to Dean...yeah, that's about what it's like, only a bit louder.

I haven't seen the supernatural episode, but the sound and pain i'm quite familiar with...

Sometimes I also get a faint eeeee sound in both my ears at the same time, and I can't hear anything else while it's going on.

What up, fellow tinnitus sufferer! ...it sucks, huh? :D

Yeah, and having Meniere's (the cause of said tinnitus) is super epic fun :P You have my sympathy and empathy.

Ahhh, suck. They don't know what caused mine, except that I also get symptoms very similar to Meniere's... but for whatever reason, it's not Meniere's. :/
