I looked at your icon and thought, "is she tugging on her braid," then I saw your username.

I want to know that I wrote something they liked and why they liked it. It helps me as a writer.

I agree. When I write for myself or when I'm feeling arty and experimental, I don't post it online.

LOL - yes, I picked Nynaeve as a user name because when I read the books I thought, "I wish I was like Egwene, but I have a temper like Nynaeve..." If I could manage long hair in real life, I could see myself braiding in and running around perpetually yanking on it :S

As for feedback, I don't know why people feel like they can't admit they want it. There's a difference between begging for it (or holding a story hostage for it, shameful), and saying that you like it (and offering ways to encourage it, it's why I love the Kudos system on AO3. Sometimes I can't think of something to say to an author, but I want them to know I liked it, and so that's how I think of Kudos when I get them). But anyway...

I never wishes I were like Egwene. I relate so much to Nynaeve, it's ridiculous. And I'm ok with that. =3

I think towards the end Egwene comes across as so confident. But...yeah, I relate more to Nynaeve and I too am okay with that LOL

True! I love how dynamic Egwene has been over the course of the story. She's become one of my favorite characters even though I thought she was boring at the beginning. (Funnily enough, I had the same phenomenon happen with Mat, and Mat barely changed at all. :B)
