Same. I RPed with a guy in his early 20s when I was 14 and he was nothing but nice to me and not at all creepy. I would run my tavern and he'd come by to chat with his various characters and keep the ruffians out.

On a side note, I remember I RPed with an older girl playing a guy character and she was really hesitant to tell me she was actually a girl, since apparently the last person freaked out at her about it. That's basically the norm now so it's kind of funny to think of how that may have been considered strange 10+ years ago.
