(Anonymous) 2012-09-08 02:45 am (UTC)(link)Out of curiosity, why does it have to be a female victim then?
I've heard this before, that many men in fact imagine themselves as the woman in the rape fantasy. But then I always wonder why it needs to be a woman in the first place? Why not a man getting attacked by a man, or a man getting attacked by a woman?
Is the opposite gender easier to use in such a fantasy, because...? (Also directed at the women imagening themselves as man raping a woman).
I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just interested in kinks :)

(Anonymous) 2012-09-08 03:05 am (UTC)(link)As a woman who fantasizes about being a man raping a woman, I think it had to do with being teased and picked on by other girls when I was growing up. I wanted to punish them in the worst way I could think of, and sometime during puberty I guess I eroticized that desire? The women I (as a male rapist) fantasize about raping resemble the girls who used to bully me. Took me a while to figure that out, but I think that's where it came from.

(Anonymous) 2012-09-08 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)It's a control thing. I think everyone other than Mens' Rights Activists can agree that men as a group have more power and privilege than women. A woman being raped by a man is often more helpless and at more of a disadvantage than any other combination of genders. Not because of who she is or who he is, but because of how society is and how they'll perceive and react to it. Also the fear of pregnancy and biological factors. It's a helplessness/powerlessness fantasy thing.
That's as far as I can explain it. I'm gay IRL so other than the helplessness kink it's a total physical disconnect. I don't even know how that part works myself.
