I think some of us are skeptics by nature and find it difficult/impossible to believe... whatever. But I'm pretty sure some people are better at it.

I'm just trying to understand how they choose belief, because it's not a skill I possess. So many people seem to think it's this obvious thing that everyone can do that it makes it really hard to communicate sometimes, because I'm missing this apparently really fundamental context that nearly everyone around me seems to share.
