OH MAN I forgot to mention Glee. When it first was coming out, I thought it was going to be a quirky, fun comedy that would be making fun of high school stereotypes. I was hoping it would replace Pushing Daisies for me.

But no, it wasn't making fun of or spoofing high school stereotypes it was basically all about high school stereotypes. I dropped it like it was hot after the 5th episode, and I definitely don't regret it after it's become such a mess....

I didn't think the first half of the first season was too bad, but it does surprise me how long it's taken for people to realize the show is horrible.

Like all those things that make the show a hot mess now were always there, the only difference is maybe that it's completely right in your face now, screaming at you.
