Nah, I got fed up of everyone assuming everyone online was male. I decided to let female be the default gender I attribute to people, until some evidence comes in to suggest otherwise. It counters some of the assumptions in my own thinking and that of those around me, it helps me behave in a more confident manner where I don't feel like I'm automatically in the minority, and it is often hilarious.

Seriously, some people reveal themselves rather more thoroughly than they intend when you incorrectly use female pronouns to describe them. Far more fireworks than the other way round, and then you know what sort of person they are. The cool ones are often cool in other areas.

I've gotten to where I sometimes just default to assuming everyone's female when I'm on 4chan and posting as such, just to see what the reaction will be (and to combat the "any obvious girls around here are attention whores that want cock" vibe some boards on 4chan tend to have).
