Re: Will-They-Won't-They TV couples

Either they get together and it's completely boring or they never get together and it starts becoming irritating seeing all the obvious reasons the writers are trying to come up with to keep them apart.

I do sometimes like these couples, but after a few seasons(books/games/whatever) it starts to drive me fucking insane. I think only one person on fs! knows what this is, but I'm wanting to drop Drop Dead Diva like it's hot right now because of this.

Yes on the insane part. Especially if the series is heavily invested in that couple to the point that it's their main plot. It doesn't bother me as much if other things are going on in the series but if it's constantly thrown in my face then I have trouble continuing on with that show.

I actually tried to watch Drop Dead Diva but I had trouble getting into it. Should I even try?

Yea, I know how you feel. A little frustration is one thing, but sometimes it can be so terribly frustrating that you can't bring yourself to enjoy the series at all. (Or at least not enough to continue with it.)

Should I even try?

Not sure what to say to this, because it all depends on how interested you are. If you don't 'get' it, that's okay and you might want to just let it go. I'd say if you gave the show half a season then you've probably seen what it's like; if you don't like it by then you probably won't.

DDD is basically my guilty pleasure show (minus most of the guilt, but I still don't mention it often because Lifetime) and I enjoy it enormously for it's wacky court cases, adorable characters and sentimentality - I also really, really love Jane and ship Jane/Grayson, but the whole 'will they won't they' thing is making me want to bash my head against a wall (specifically because at this point it is looking very much 'they won't', which is not an option I am personally okay with, lol), so...

IDK. If you want, give it another shot, but if you really aren't in the mood for another 'will-they-won't-they' couple then it's best you skip it.

Edited to add: though some people hate Grayson and are really into Jane's current fiance, so if that's an issue, maybe you'd feel the same.
