Same here! I am so pissed! Why won't they quote me? I think my comment would have fit under "I clearly know nothing about the way gamer culture works, but that won’t stop me from being a dismissive asshole."

It's so depressing that I'm tempted to make a misogynistic secret just so I can then comment and agree with it like, "Aw yeah, misogyny. It's the best!" or something like that because DAMN I want to be quoted. But I won't do that because it's even better to be misquoted.

Heh. It just tempts me to reply to any secret that could be construed as misogynist, and say something vague that can be taken out of context. My irc friends misunderstand me all the time why can't that superpower work here.

I know! When I saw it was that one I was like "MY DAY HAS COME!" But, I guess my post wasn't able to be twisted to paint me as misogynistic. Oh well.

I think mine could have been: I've internalized the misogyny of gaming culture and just roll over and take it. I'm not helping by accepting being called a casual gamer.
