Ah, guess I just haven't noticed it as much, then. Admittedly I try to avoid movie fandom stuff built heavily around stories from the myths, because if I wanted those I'd just go reread the myths and picture the gods as the movie characters. But hey, to each their own. *shrug*

I try to avoid MCU crossovers with myth generally, idk, they squick me, the characters are so different. I love both though.

Agreed. I love both the Marvel characters and the mythological figures, and even though one set is loosely based on the other, they're definitely not interchangeable.

Also omg that pic is brilliant~ I love MCU!Loki, but... yeah... He's definitely not as cool as Loki from the myths.
