Nope.

Or, at least, most people have a love-hate relationship with him. He's very good at a few tricks that get people hooked, and he's also a completely awful person.

Tbh, Moffat is pretty much a glorified troll who is paid to write fanfiction (seriously, everything he writes is fanfiction. Sherlock & Dr. Who and Jekyll. Coupling is literally just his life rewritten.). It's pretty impossible to actually completely like the guy, his whole thing is that he's a troll, and he's one of those racist, sexist ones too.

And this makes him different from JNT, how, exactly? /blasphemy-burn-the-heretic-etc

I see him as a lot like George Lucas. Has some great, compelling ideas as long as he has superiors to wipe off the stupid.

That's... interesting. You make me glad I know so little about him.

It's too bad he doesn't have some person reining him in when he needs it.

Yeah. Tbh the best parts of Sherlock are when you can tell it was a collaborative effort instead of solely Moff's stuff. He's good on his own in small doses and he's an excellent collaborator, but his writing style and his belief system has qualities that just make him too much when it's concentrated Moffat.

I almost feel like that for most writers. Obviously there are those that are better on their own than Moffatt but overall I like when people write together with others.

For example, in Star Trek, Stargate, any videogames, I normally like the episodes/parts more that were obviously collaborative. I feel when you have multiple people that expanded view really adds something. These multiple people can help uphold the script where the other the others writers may be weak.
