Again with people not understanding what a hypocrite is.

(Anonymous) 2012-09-11 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Why not explain to them instead of just pointing out that they are wrong?

Meanwhile, I look at this and assume that Leafeon, as a grass type Pokemon, could be severely injured by Flareon, a fire type. Aren't parts of Flareon actual fire? Like Charmander's tail and Ponyta's mane? This is some irresponsible damn Pokemon training.

Flareon's just really poofy. No fire involved, just fluff.

This is a game series where you can breed a kitten and a whale and then they produce an egg the size of the kitten, best not to think too hard about it.

I remember a pokedex entry saying Flareon's body temerature could reach 350 degrees or something? Or was it more.

But I think it can control it? Because Ponyta can control who its fire mane will burn, according to one of the Pokemon episodes.

But you know, whatever.

Inhaled air is heated in the flame sac in its body to an intense fire over 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

Yup!

That background image.
Just...

(Anonymous) 2012-09-11 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
I recognised that image and I can assure you that there is nothing under the text box that would warrant such a gif lol

(Anonymous) 2012-09-11 11:56 am (UTC)(link)
I dunno, I can't imagine what it could be hiding that would successfully combat the spread legs and classic blushing "oh please don't rape me mister! Kyaaaa" anime expressions.

I don't agree with you- real animals, yes, that's creepy, but human/alien or human/creature doesn't bother me as long as the aliens or creatures are of comparable or higher intelligence to the human. I actually kind of like reading about that.

But your opinion is not hypocrisy. Shipping pokemon with other pokemon is pretty common and plenty of people do it without being creepy about it, but that's different from a real animal being shown in a sexual light. Dogs and horses and stuff exist. We know that they're kind of stupid, and many of us have family-like relationships with our pets, so seeing people sexualize them is usually crossing a line. And with humans involved, it's written like bestiality a lot of the time, with the creatures or aliens being too stupid to really realize what's going on.

So you are not a hypocrite, and I think that's an okay line to have.

I think drawn stuff is ok too anon. I don't like the idea of real animals like horses, cats, or dogs, but pokemon are ok. Even like human live action porn grosses me out. But drawn stuff is ok. I don't understand it myself.

I totally get where you're coming from. Watching anyone/anything get it on is inherently sort of arousing to me. If it's, I don't know, Eevees going at it, I don't wan't to fuck them, I'm just turned on by what's going on., I just find I still get a little skeeved out by drawn human/animal stuff, but as long as no one's actually fucking a dog, more power to them if it gets them off.
