Haha, I knew from the second I saw pictures of this guy, even in cracky doujinshi, that he was probably a Really Bad Person (with Really Bad Fashion, seriously, he needs to burn that coat). But I doubt anyone cares as long as he looks hot topping that boy always turned into a super uke, what's his name, Akira? In fact, I think being an awful person makes him even more appealing to a lot of folks. Detail his canon crimes and you might just be making his fanbase bigger, so don't count on it.

Me, I just like Gunji. And, yes, I know he's a monster, too. Doesn't matter, that big guy he's always with can probably handle him.

Ahem. Last I checked, Aarinfantasy had removed its fan translation thing. Which makes it even harder for people to access the source material and understand it, unless they already speak Japanese.

If the OP has played the original game, I'd be interested in how the characterization of Shiki differs, and is more abusive. Though I'm not so fond of him. In the manga (which is most of what I've seen) he reads as someone the author was trying too hard to portray as cool. He's stiff, he always looks bored, he rarely speaks in more than monosyllables ... how anyone sees him as more than a sulking teenager is beyond me. Okay, he's killed lots of people and has a sadistic streak. What else? And I really haven't seen anything else, from Shiki. Certainly not enough to endear him to me.

Incidentally, I say this as someone who *often* ends up explaining what's so great about complete monsters. Shiki just falls short, IMO.

I get it. I don't care about him much(Because of how he's "really" like). But then again, I love love love Kiriwar and Gunji,... but they're psychos directly, without further digging, you just know it instantly and pretty much everything they say is insane.. hehe. There's a difference.
