why open a tab -> go to wikipedia -> enter search -> click link for the page you want

when if using chrome you can search in the address bar with 'wiki' in your query -> click link for the page you want

I don't use Chrome, so it's the same number of steps either way.

because I can just put the term into the search box under the wikipedia search in FF and get it more easily?

well that's what you get for using chrome

in chrome or fx you can just type your keyword for wikipedia in the searchbar followed by your searchterm

ctrl+L "wk ice age" enter -> look ma, no mouse

set the keyword by rightclicking on whatever searchbox you want
