Well, I guess some fandoms just like to fanon the shit out of characters they like. So much until they barely resemble the OCs anymore and have turned into some form of parallel universe characters.

I'm in the Transformers:Prime fandom on tumblr and they seriously tried to force a romantic relationship between an asshole and his brutish assistant.
When the assistant died the asshole was just like "meh" and the fandom tried to turn it into something like: "OMG he is just holding back his tears ugugugu poor baby, aaaagh they destroyed Hasbro's FIRST OFFICIAL GAY ROBOT COUPLE, all my tears!"

It made me avoid tumblr completely for a few days.

I avoid tumblr everytime an episode mentions Starscream. It's never, ever worth it. /still bitter over people demonizing Optimus
