F/F book recs

(Anonymous) 2012-09-12 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
Yesterday, in response to a secret, we had some interesting M/M book recs. So, as the title says, can someone rec some good F/F books? The only ones I've ever read are Tipping the Velvet and the Honor Series by Radclyffe. I seriously need some new lesbian romance reading material!

Malinda Lo did a round-up of YA LGBT books that came out this year. So you'll probably be able to find something in there!

Or maybe you were thinking of the LGBT comics thread (http://fandomsecrets.dreamwidth.org/617900.html?thread=721836#cmt721836)? The female-centric works thread (http://fandomsecrets.dreamwidth.org/647738.html?thread=566572090#cmt566572090)? The LBGT entertainment - including books - thread (http://fandomsecrets.dreamwidth.org/643537.html?thread=564276433#cmt564276433)?

Those are all amazing threads, but I don't think any of them are the one I'm thinking of :( It was mostly a loong singular thread of people recommending lesbian and trans books back and forth.

I found my library record since I got some books that were recommended out. The 2 I ordered were:
- Ash (I see it recced in the LGBT Entertainment Recs thread! Which I definitely stalked since I'm the Batwoman requesting anon who eventually bought and enjoyed Elegy)
- Santa Olivia

for some reason the library record doesn't list the authors...I've got the dates I ordered them, so the thread would have been in June *returns to hunting*

I read it a very long time ago, and it's a Young Adult book, so I'm not sure if the quality was as good as I remember it, but it spoke to me when I read it: Keeping You a Secret by Julie Anne Peters (http://www.amazon.com/Keeping-Secret-Julie-Anne-Peters/dp/0316009857).
