Okay, this reminded me of something and hopefully someone can help me out at last.

There was this game I remember being on the SNES. I'm from England so it might have been a PAL only release but maybe not. Anyway, I was like three when I played it so I barely remember it but what I do was that basically you were this animal that could morph into a different animal at certain points. It was a side-scroller and each transformation would involve this cinematic of turning into a coloured ball and stretching until the new animal appeared.

I've been trying for ages to remember what that game was but have got nowhere. Anyone have a clue what I'm talking about?
