I have met a lot of people who use their illnesses/issues as an excuse for everything, and in a few cases, admitted they were outright lying about it after the fact because it was just the easy thing to do.

Having autism, or asperger's, or anything, isn't really an excuse to be an asshole. It bothers me when people behave poorly, and then refuse to own to that behavior.
