Sometimes I imagine the trolls on this comm are robots without some sort of program or code that helps them read between the lines or make an inference.

Most humans could see that it's an image of something violent and then infer the OP possibly got off on the violence. Also, one person is wearing an odd outfit (for fencing, but some people wouldn't know that), so you can also infer that OP might find that outfit sexy.

If you had no inference subroutine, then I could see how you might question the OPs intent.

I think it was partly the fact that it was Jake Gyllenhaal that was killing people, because he's such a good person in real life and usually plays "the good guy" in films.

Honestly I'm a little concerned with how aroused I get over violent stuff rather than the "normal" romantic, or at least less dangerous stuff.

It's not about "questioning the OP's intent", it's about having no idea what the picture is about. I don't give two shits if OP is turned on by peanut butter and jelly sandwiches... but if they post a blurry pic, then, yes, those of us who don't have your Holmesian powers of deduction would naturally want to know what the picture depicted.

I fail to see how curiosity = trolling.

Ah, so I watched the video to know what you were on about.

So that video and Donnie Darko are the only roles I can recall with Gyllenhaal being a disturbed character. he needs to play more of that imo

The video itself turned me on, too. The music and the pacing and the Jake Gyllenhaal and the aggression... It's an awesome video! I don't find anything particularly sexy about the murder scenes by themselves, so I dunno if that's what the OP was referring to or not.
