Oh, the triggers-in-addition-to-anger, like danger or injury, is definitely legit, but I was disappointed that the movie basically reduced the anger trigger to just another way to get his heart rate up. But anyway, I'm sure he wasn't crazy palpitating in the scene in the Avengers where he lets the Hulk out voluntarily, so I assume that heart rate is just one of the Hulk's triggers, instead of the trigger.
