No I started from the beginning and then stopped, I don't remember where, before Kankri showed up (but reading about him online I don't think I'd like him as a character).

The kids weren't that bad, I liked them better than most of the trolls (Karkat > Kids > Non-Karkat Trolls). Really the comic was just too fucking convoluted and involved for me and my level of caring was not enough for me to keep putting in the damn effort of keeping track of everything. Since it was mostly just Karkat that I actually liked.

Okay, at least you did it right. Sorry it's not for you.

I'm not sure when you left but... a lot of the later soundtracks had some troll representation, Karkat included. So you might want to check out the music even if you never go back to the comic.

And Kankri is pretty much supposed to be every SJ ranter you just want to shut the fuck up ever, so I don't think he's supposed to be "likeable" at least in the direct sense.

Karkat's reaction is appropriate shock mingled with horror.

I don't even like Homestuck, but that panel made me laugh for ages when I first saw it.
