The "Misanthropy" thread above made me a little sad, because sometimes people are really nice and can have really positive impacts on other people's lives. And that reminded me of this adorable article that I read a couple days ago: aliciabessette.com/blog/?p=1104

So share, F!S: either a) a story of some random act of kindness that stuck with you, or b) an interaction you had with a celebrity or other well-known person who was astonishingly nice or helpful to you.

The other day I had to move out of my dorm room to another house along the highway. I had no car and no one to help me, so I was pushing all my worldly possessions in a shopping cart. A guy I didn't know gave me a ride, even tolerated me being scatter-brained not remembering what the address was and having to dig through all my luggage to find my phone that had the address on it.;; He tell me what his last name was so I can't even bake him cookies or send him a flower gram or anything.

Today in the drivethru, the line was being held up because of this woman adding things last minute to her order at the window. To make up to it, she bought the car behind her cookies and asked us to give them to them. Most people just aren't so considerate anymore at fast food places so that was nice.
