Uh no. The people who lurk tags are the usually the fans of whatever the tag is about, so if people choose to tag their hate then it's their fault if the fans respond to them negatively. It's pretty obvious.

And the only ones I've seen getting called out for talking about "problematic shit" by the Elementary fandom were the ones thinly-veiling their hate for the show by throwing around unthoughtful accusations to undermine all the good things people have been saying about the show.

I've seen plenty of people giving perfectly rational criticisms of Elementary get accused of being awful human beings by Elementary fans. If someone is reviewing Elementary, I don't see why they shouldn't tag it. People criticise the Sherlock fandom and the actors in the Sherlock tag all the time.
