This is the Chilean Rose Tarantula I referrred to, and it really is extremely docile and very okay with handling. Of course, it's still necessary to be careful with the spider, since they're rather fragile creatures, but compared to other tarantula species, the Chilean Rose Tarantula may just be the ultimate and best for a beginner to care for. I've featured it before in these posts, but it's been long enough that I suppose another look at it wouldn't hurt!

Yeah, I think I'll stick with the spiders (although these mice are still better than monkeys)...
And that tarantula looks sooo fluffy! One day I just might earn my brother's hatred by getting one as a pet. ;-)

Mices! ♥ I miss having pet mice and rats, but I can't have them anymore because some of my other pets are baby Satans and could not be counted on to not find a way to eat them, no matter the security surrounding their cages. *sigh*

yay, mice! IDK if there were other people asking for more mice, but I know I did--and I don't think I've seen so much concentrated mousie cuteness in one place since I was a little girl reading Beatrix Potter!
