to everyone in F!S who I ever judged for complaining about "feminists" or "SJWs" because the world is full of bullshit and why would those be bad things? I started using tumblr 2 weeks ago. I'm not with you exactly, but I kind of get where you're coming from.

biowareconfessions, fuckyeah-masseffect, masseffectheadcanons, biowareaccordingtomom (the blogger's Mom just finished ME3!), uh... I follow a LOT, but so many of them don't post anymore. I also don't follow any pairing-specific stuff except Shakarian ;) I just track a lot of ME-related tags as well and find stuff (and people!) that way.

omg this headcanons tumblr is awesome, thanks. I really have no shipping feelings about ME, I just liked the world building. I actually got huuuge second hand embarrassment from all the romance storylines. I haven't really been using tags to find people. I find them kind of overwhelming? I'm not sure how to interact with them. Maybe if I tried harder I'd have more than 3 followers heh

Honestly, I'm not a shipper, I was actually first drawn to ME for all the choice and consequence and I found Paragon/Renegade interesting. And because I love space settings. I didn't even romance anyone in 1 but I... somehow ended up with a lot of shipping feelings for Garrus along the way.

For interactions, I dunno.. I just reblog stuff I like. :) You can send people asks and stuff, but I feel weird doing so unless it's one of those general fandom blogs or I'm somewhat familiar with the person. Haha. Other than fandom, I follow people I know from outside tumblr.

The problem with tumblr is it moves at such a frantic pace, sometimes it's hard to keep up. :(

I've been in ME tumblr fandom since like January and nowhere near a BNF, the fandom is too big. Just sayin. ;) (I don't want to be one either, I just like interacting with people.) Lurking's good too when it's a scary world!

wellll my salad days are coming to a close, to put it delicately. I've been lurking in fandom for almost 10 years now and I know enough to know BNF-dom isn't in my future. It's time to either break out of my shell or abandon the whole business altogether.

I'm the world's biggest social justice warrior feminist type, but some of those tumblrites make my eyebrows raise. It gives me not-nostalgia for the halcyon university days of arguing with some of the radfems fresh out of Women's Studies.

That said, I think a lot of the criticism directed against "SJWs" is reactionary, but hoo boy are there some interesting (read: hilarious) cases out there.
