Meg 1 was kept alive after falling out the window until the demon was exorcised, so at the very least there's that.

Though with Castiel being restored by God in Swan Song/whatever happened in the lake in 7.02, who knows about Jimmy at this point. Doubt it will ever be addressed, but I'd like it to be.

Well, I like BBC Sherlock because it's different to the usual procedural shows, and for the most part they do a great job of adapting Sherlock Holmes stories. Elementary doesn't offer anything interesting to me.

Once you're out of school, books become one entertainment choice among many. There's no point in fussing because other people choose to spend their free time in ways you would not. I don't read YA, and rarely read fantasy* or sci fi, so when I want book talk, I go other places.

Sometimes I do get a little judgey when all adult, non-genre books are dismissed as "boring." I know it's defensiveness, but being bored by The Great Gatsby in high school doesn't make you an expert on the world of literature.

She dropped out of Uni to do modeling -- that seems like an incredibly smart thing for her to do. Uni will still be there when she's 30, but the years where she can get lucrative modeling contracts are much shorter. She models for a while, making tons of money, then when she's ready to move on to a different career, she goes back to school and gets a degree to help out that ambition.

Disclaimer: I've haven't really watched SPN for a few years now and only know it peripherally and through fandom so everything I say is... probably complete crap.

I am of the understanding (this may be completely a fanon thing I picked up on) that Castiel allowed/assisted the soul in leaving once it became clear that Jimmy would not survive when Castiel no longer required the vessel.

I have an irrational dislike of her partially stemming from that I think she's a really one note actress. And coming from a Kristen Stewart fan, that's pretty insulting.

Gotta admit I found the greasy hair distracting while watching the show. It seems awfully unfair, because his brother always has perfectly washed, conditioned and blown-dry hair, and he's stuck slicking his hair back with what looks like motor oil.

For the record, some of us shippers do understand the ick factor if Jimmy is still there. We just choose to either have Jimmy give permission, or more often write/believe that Jimmy died at some point and that it is Cas' body now.

I do understand not being able to ship. I feel that way about Sam/Dean. Can't ship it, can't see it, can't stand it. To each their own.

Entirely subjective. Personally, dildos all the way. VIbrators do nothing for me. Maybe I'm using them wrong, but they don't seem to actually help in any way.

According to the SPN wiki page on Jimmy Novak, Misha believes he's still "locked in" at the end of season 6.

EDIT: also Claire!stiel says to Jimmy: "You won't die or age."

The season finale of Buffy season six. I realized I literally only liked one recurring character, and the show was actively fueling my depression, so dropped that shiz like a hot potato.

This. I'm in a couple of small fandoms. I read about 1% of the fic that gets posted or rec'd. There are like two or three stories THAT KEEP GETTING REC'D AND I want to bang my head against the desk repeatedly because the stories are: 1) cliche 2) OOC 3) badly written.

But this is true in almost every fandom I come across. :: shrugs ::

So I write the stories I want to read and that makes me happy. It also makes me happy with other people apparently want to read them too :P
