Big fat THIS at the Bad At Video Games. I'm just a really shitty gamer, always have been. The only games I've ever played to the end are puzzle games where death is impossible and Cactus McCoy.

If you're bad at video games, why are you interested in video games fandoms?

There are thousands of movies, tv shows, books, comics, web comics and more, so you can find many stories you could like. It doesn't have to be a video game you can't play because you're bad at it :/

They probably have fun playing games even if they suck at them. Fun. Funnnnnn


Like how anyone can enjoy cooking, but they don't have to be successful at it.
The other answer would be that not all stories are the same, and there are stories in videogames you're not going to find elsewhere.

I'm not terribly interested in video game fandoms, actually; but if I were, I would probably only be able to learn the whole story through watching someone else play/reading supplementary material. (And then nothing much would happen, since I don't go to many forums and accumulate plotbunnies without ever writing most of them. So... no harm, no foul?)
