I'm pretty sure this isn't explicitly mentioned in the film, but I'm curious (for reasons) and I'm way out of the fandom: is there a general consensus among X-Men: First Class writers and/or readers on where Alex Summers is from? Or at the least where the prison Charles and Erik get him out of is? I've been doing some research into the character as described in the comic books, but I don't know how much of that's been adopted, fanon wise, for the film.

So yeah. Any ideas?

I heard New York, because the numbering system on his cell door is very similar to those of several New York prisons. I'm not sure about other opinions but--all things considered--I'm willing to accept that.
