How popular is the whole Transformers having metal dicks and vaginas (and does it have a name so I can figure out a way to avoid it?) in the fandom?

It's called sticky and it's pretty damn popular. Other forms of sex are plug and play (using cables), tactile (electromagnetic fields, touching, stuff like that), and sparksex (pretty obv.)

Sticky is really prevalent though, but most people label fics with sticky on it so avoiding it shouldn't be too hard.
