(Anonymous) 2012-09-18 05:33 am (UTC)(link)You may want to run a few searches on Mandarake's online store, both English and Japanese versions (the times when I've used it, the two seemed to have different stock for some reason) and/or Yahoo!Japan Auctions. I've seen entire lots of old anime doujin go up for bid at times on Y!JA, so you may have luck there. Remember to search (in Japanese) by both title of the series and pairing, not only at the same time, but also one at a time.
Should you find what you're looking for, your biggest obstacle will be the fact that most doujin shops don't ship internationally, so you'll need to find a reputable proxy service that covers that shop (most will cover Mandarake and other big shops, but some don't do Y!JA for various reasons). Their commission rates can be pricey (not to mention the shipping!), but if you're serious about collecting, take it from me: a good proxy service is a priceless commodity for doujin buyers outside of Japan. A quick Google search of "Japan proxy service" can turn up a few, but it's best to ask around and get recommendations. I would give one of my own, but I haven't bought doujin via proxy in a while due to my own collection needing culling, so any rec I could give wouldn't really be timely anymore.
Good luck!
