First off, I do buy a lot of video games. Secondly, I don't buy them used and I do care about getting them in mint condition. And finally -- brace yourself for this one, as it'll obviously be a surprise for you -- stores vary from country to country! Over here (and in many other countries as well), you cannot find a single video game store that sells games shrinkwrapped. I really shouldn't need to explain why that is, but then again... I think I better spell it out for you: The stores open up the games in order to remove the disc(s), therefore minimizing the risk of theft.

"Vidya" is not a "Southern misspelling", it's internet slang from 4chan's /v/.
...And you've gone completely off the rails to rage at a stranger who said something completely innocuous, so have a good day, ma'am.
EDIT: Actually, you know what? I've been suspicious from the moment you started talking about "mint condition" and being a "collector", so rather than be polite I'll return the favour and catch you in your outright lie.
See, it so happens that I'm a collector too. And as a collector, you'd know that "mint", when it comes to video games, has a very specific meaning (as it does for comics, etc.): factory sealed. So, it it were true what you said about Swedish game stores, it would mean that no Swedish game store sells copies in mint condition. By definition, they've been opened, and the discs removed. The best you could get was "near mint".
So, if you really cared about getting "mint condition" copies for your collection, you'd order the games online. (I am aware that games retailers and eBay stores do sell to Sweden, so don't even try to bullshit me on this one too.) Yet, you don't. You buy the near mint copies from your local game store, claiming it's your only option. By definition, your case has been tampered with. It's been opened, and the disc is removed.
Of course, it's obviously not your only option (you could buy online) so you were full of shit from the start, but as it turns out there are other gamers from Sweden on the internet who could also point out that no, Swedes aren't too stupid to figure out locked display cases and the use of display copies/locked copies.
You're not a collector of mint condition games, you're lying about Sweden in the hopes of preying on the ignorance of others who have called you out for saying something tremendously stupid, "vidya" is a very common slang term for "video games" on the internet that has nothing to do with any accent or dialect, and "golly" is not Southern - it's dated. And given I was the one who said it in quotes, quoting my reaction, those would have been words I put in my own mouth anyway.
You, ma'am, are the ignorant one. And a poor reader. And worse, a liar.
Kindly go fuck yourself, and good day.
