A Taste for Honey a Sherlock Homes pastiche written in the 40's. The movie The Deadly Bees, which was shown on MST, was based on the book, with some major changes (including getting rid of the Holmesian character).

Huh, I've actually never heard of it. I'll have to write that down for after I get through Hound of the Baskervilles.

Cool. I've just started it, and it's a little dry, but I like it enough. And hopefully it'll pick up a bit.

Oh man, I was just watching that episode of MST3K! I had no idea there was a Holmes connection. Was there a young pop star in the original?

Well, like I said, the movie drops the Homes connection, so I'm not surprised. I only knew because... damn, I can't remember how I fond out.
