i'm "between books" right now. i'm having a hard time maintaining interest in reading, which is a shame because i used to love reading. i think it's tied to the larger crisis i'm dealing with, though.

...this made me incomprehensibly sad.

i'll be fine. i'm just dealing with turning 30 rather badly. thank you.

i used to read a lot, too.
then i went through a pretty bad time (depression/anxiety/other stuff), and even though i'm over that now i've only just started getting back into finishing books again.
there's this massive pile on my bedside table. :(
also, i'm at university... and you don't really want to start reading srs literature after slogging through a textbook.

you're probably going through something completely different, but i hope it works out the best for you. it does get better! :)

That's happened to me in the past. I figured out back in college that an indicator that I was way too stressed was that I'd only finished one book that term. Each time it's happened, it's come back once the stress levels decreased.

So, um, there's hope? And you're not alone? Don't know if that helps any, but I hope it does.
