Re: FS, what are you reading right now?

I'm almost done with Yes, Chef, Marcus Samuelsson's memoir, and I'm not loving it as unreservedly as I expected, although it's interesting and he's amazingly dedicated to his career and really candid about his own weaknesses.

I'm also in the middle of Lonely Werewolf Girl by Martin Millar, which was weirdly slow going for me for the first couple of chapters, but now I'm getting into it.

I'm also reading Will Eisner's Contract with God trilogy, which is gorgeous, but definitely a product of Eisner's time socially. But it is a classic of the "graphic novel" tradition, and I'm glad I'm finally reading it.

Aaaand I read all of The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal last night, which is beautifully drawn and has boys kissing in it.

I keep meaning to read the sequel to Lonely Werewolf Girl, but the first book was so crazy I know I'll have to read it again, first to understand what's going on.

TJ and Amal is endless win. But poor Teej right now.

I knoooow. God, the way she draws him just LOOKING at Amal (or NOT LOOKING) and it's so intense. And then the actual story just, ugh. I want to smoosh them together like Ken dolls.
