So fellow homestucks on FS, how much did you give to the kickstarter, if any? And was there a particular reason?

I'd go anon for this one just cause we are talking about money.

I kept waffling between the Seerpack (Pocpak version or not) and the Slickpack, but in the end decided that I needed that midnight crew t-shirt and playing cards. (and not willing to shell out enough for both). Take my hundred and change andrew, you're twice over funded game needs it more then me!

ughhh I pledged the $400 one originally because I had about half the money at the time and thought I would be able to earn the rest. Due to reasons, that money decreased and now I have way less. And including the exchange rate I would probably need another $100 on top of whatever I pledge (assuming its a $100 plus one.) And with the addition of the slickpak and the seerpak i DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO BECAUSE I WANT ALL OF THEM.

so I'm basically going to decide which one to get based on how much money I have saved just before the end time. I'll probably make wild bargains with my family for them to give me some money for my goals (in my defense it is my birthday kind of soon, and I would happily pay them back for it. I want these things so baaaaad ;__; )

i really want the tarot/midnight crew decks but i can't afford to buy the whole PAKs (not even one of them), so i'm hoping they go on sale individually someday.

I'm continuting to not donate until Hussie posts the next part of the walkaround.

I don't think that's going to be till after the kickstart is over... since he's offering beta testing and all.

Nada. I need more money for other things (ie:school & bills), so the kickstarter had the worst timing for me.

If I scrounge up enough, I will see if I can give $15 as a "pre order".

The game is really the only thing I want. The merch tiers and whatnot I don't care for at all.

But you make a pretty good point why I shouldn't even consider the digital copy; I have no idea what the game's going to be like in a couple years, much less know if I'll be able to play it. So now I'm certain that if it's worth full price (or whatever price it's going to be), I can buy it then. Besides, the project's already met it's goal since Day 2.

While this stuff is kind of cool, I admit it fills me with a certain sense of arm-flailing dread. I got into the fandom when it wasn't so huge, and spent most of several months writing a fic a day, and it was great being with other fans. I guess it just feels like it's growing out of my ability to connect to it.

Goddamn right I am. The perks are fucking sweet and I believe a guy who's consistently made good mini-games can make a good game. The more money he has to do that, the better.
