"Alone" by Admiral Byrd. Dude decided it would be a great idea to spend an entire Antarctic winter alone in the freezing dark, 150 miles south of Little America. It's awesome so far, not a little bit because it's a 1938 library edition with yellowed pages, bluish-black ink, and a red clothbound cover.

Ilona Andrews's "On the Edge" books. Slogging through the third one now in a combination of bile fascination and a friend's request.

"Justice League International" comics. So much love. Back when comics were fun and women were drawn like regular people! ...but still sexist in other ways 'cause, you know, the 80s.
