Seriously though, I don't think the many lesbians interested in slash are attracted to men IRL either, so enjoying slash doesn't make you not-heterosexual, I think.

I have no idea what I'd call myself as far as sexuality goes but I don't think it's something you should worry about. It doesn't sound like you do, but just saying; even if you do find two guys getting it on stimulating, it doesn't necessarily mean you would want to participate in it IRL (though if you did, that would be perfectly okay too). Fantasies don't have to be something we want in reality.

Well, I'm asexual and that's pretty much how I feel about sex and porn in general. It's great, as long as I'm not actually involved. So it's not at all a strange thing, in my mind.

You don't need to find the person attractive to get off on whatever they're doing. I find almost all of the people I watch in porn quite unattractive indeed (especially the men). Just sayin.

If you have no desire to do anything sexually with men yourself, and have never experienced either sexual or romantic attraction to men, then I'd still say that you're straight. I'm a (female) homo-romantic asexual; I have zero interest in having sex with anyone, ever, but still get romantically attracted exclusively to women.

Yet I read significantly more slash than femslash (and het doesn't interest me at all), and can get off to it. I still consider myself homo-asexual because I am not sexually or romantically attracted to the characters, and imagining them fucking me - rather than each other - would be an instant turn off.

Dude, I am so in your court. I am not gay but I love seeing sex in general, I don't care if it's straight, gay, bi, whatever. My SO doesn't mind either so I'm completely uninhibited. But when it comes to friends, I'm completely silent on the matter. They think I'm het, but I'd have to say that secretly I'm bi, yet leaning het. I can appreciate a great body whether it's male or female but it's so hard to find like minded friends.

Sexuality is complicated. And labels are only really valid as long as you feel they are, so don't stress as to what makes someone else comfortable about your sexuality.

One of the coolest things about human sexuality is that it is fluid and dynamic and often terribly difficult to pin down into sharp categories. Don't sweat the details, man.

I'm similar. I'm a girl only attracted to girls IRL, but fictional dudes can do it for me. Don't sweat it, a lot of people probably work this way.

Eh. I'm a woman who likes women but I like m/m stories and crush on some fictional guys. Do people really ask if you're straight that often? That's kinda weird. You should tell them that.

If you're a man and you don't feel attracted to men in real life, then you're straight. People get off to all sorts of weird things in porn that they'd never really be into in real life, so don't fret too much about it. :)
