I think they mean like anthro versions of them? I've seen tons of "sexy human glados/eve" stuff and people think that's totally normal.

but if they're human then you're attracted to a human, not a robot. so where does the robot attraction come in?

They drew it in the first place because they found glados sexy in the game? A lot of people think glados is sexy. I'm not one of them, but there is a big fandom.

There are a ton of humanized Cars characters fanarts though too, and I haven't seen many people side-eying them.
