P.S. On the off-chance you're being serious and are really that clueless, it's because some of us would indeed like to see things that are not everywhere in media. (And some of us would like representation.)

I know this is trolly but I do wonder it. That thing about "wanting to see what's not represented in the media" is bullshit. That would make sense if it wasn't such a huge thing and not all PORN. Perhaps I answered my own question fandom=mostly women. Women like guys.

It just seems more like another cultural indoctrination thing. You get on the internet. You must like slash to fit in. Maybe the only reason I don't is because my first foray into fandom RPing included a round of "let's try to rape your male character with our male characters."

Of course this sounds like I really hate slash, (I generally hate most fanfiction tbh, I don't know why I'm here.) but I don't crusade against people right to do it. It would be nice if there could be an actual conversation about it without accusations of homophobia.
