Rizzoli and Isles. I love cop shows, I love female protagonists, I love femslash, and I just could not get into it. To be fair, I didn't give it that much of a chance, but... it just seemed like a bunch of ship-tease and improbably crime plots.

Also the book Stardoc. A book about a human doctor working on aliens, how could that go wrong? Easily, apparently. There's at least one sequel now but I'm not touching it. I was really excited about it when I first heard about it too, because it reminded me of James White, but he did it better.

+1 on Rizzoli and Isles. I also enjoyed the novels and was excited to see how the series would use the book plots, but it turned out... kind of boring, to be honest. I stuck around for a few episodes, but my interest petered out quickly.

That's the show that thinks throwing in tons of LOLDUNKINDONUTS refs and random Irish people will make it look like they're in Boston, right?

I'm kind of amused at how often people do this. As if that's all there is to Boston. For once I'd like a Store 24 or Demulas pass. Or hell, maybe mention that there's more ethnicities in Boston than Irish. Especially in Eastie.

That would be the one. But I don't ever trust network television to get a location right. Heck, they get L.A. wrong even when they film here.

Haha. My mom and I watched a few episodes of it together. I can't remember the exact detail, but I guess they had to go somewhere and my mom started yelling about how they went the wrong way (she prides herself on her directional skills).
