sci-fi geek here

I don't like Firefly very much

although I think it's more a product of general mixed feelings about Joss Whedon's writing style/dialogue, and probably the fact that it didn't get enough time to reach its full potential. but it's definitely not something i love.

I've been a sci-fi nut since I was 13 and I just turned 40. I don't like Firefly. I actively dislike Star Wars. Think what you want, but I've liked sci-fi longer than some of you commenters have existed. And I think it's fucking hilarious you think we have to meet some watershed of geekdom to have sci-fi cred. *snort*

I think its safe to say most statements are null and void if someone turns out to the RDJ. Unless the statement is "I wish to bang you like a screen door".
