Perhaps you don't use basic English grammar rules as a measure of whether something is confusing or not.

Yes, some people do not use the English language as a measure of whether something is confusing. Shocking, but true.

My measure is: did this confuse me? Sometimes, grammatical sins are a source of confusion, but that is not always the case. Additionally, a grammatically perfect paragraph can still be confusing.
