Did John Hughes' movies ever really generate that kind of fandom anyways? Maybe you're right though, that if it came out now it would be easier to enable all the fanworks.

I want a fic where Bueller is the Doctor, and those other two are his companions.

Not only can I see the OT3 but it is, to me, the only ship that makes sense. For me, it all kinda clicked towards the end of the movie--when they're hanging in the pool.

Anyhoo, sadly, I can't say that there are many fics out there. The AO3 page, for example, only has 5 stories out there. *saaaaadface*

When I caught part of it on tv as a kid in the middle of the airing, I honestly thought Cameron/Sloane was the canon couple (it might have been during the parade). It really surprised me it wasn't -- but that's because I, erm, didn't really like Ferris.
