Sometimes I feel inhumanly blessed to be in the Harry Potter fandom, because the wank is so beautiful and glorious and explodes into such massive fiery sprawling multi-sided brawls across a dozen different venues and involving scores of wanking screaming batshit fans, that it's like being able to flip on the television and be in the middle of a gigantic, neverending fight scene on the scale of Ragnarok whenever you want.

I feel sorry for those people who are only in small, calm, rational fandoms where wank is hard to find and lame and bitter and ugly instead of an explosion-filled, physics-defying, Rule of Cool-predicated churning hellscape of bitchslapping, Godwins, macros, and flamewars.

OP here!

I feel sorry for myself. Half because I mostly missed the things I mentioned in the secret, and half because glorious pyrotechnic wank's just not the same unless it's about, or involving the fandom of, a canon I adore.

Also the BZP admins and mods are too good at shutting shit down before it gets out of control. :/ Ihe fandom itself is also mostly too young to end up on fandom_wank.
