Or a reality show where all those assholes who brag about how they're prepared for the zombie apocalypse get thrown in a zombie-infested city.

We're not giving them real weapons, right?

Right? We don't want the volunteer zombies getting hurt.

On the other hand, they'd probably just end up shooting themselves in the foot, so I guess that's alright.

People successfully preventing the spread of the zombie plague really easily because it wouldn't be that hard.

In the midst of a zombie apocalypse, zombie girls and human girls alike explore their feelings for each other and proceed to smooch a lot. While fighting the other side, of course. It is up to the one zombie/human couple to bring the two sides together because power of femslash or something.

I just realized I cannot hear/read the word "smooch" without thinking the speaker/writer is Hobbes.

Zombies on airships fighting dinosaurs. <---Movie title

Humanity is a shared delusion by all ground dwellers, who cannot see the zombies or the dinosaurs.

When humans die, they become zombies and have to fight dinosaurs while flying on blimps and wearing really kick-ass Victorian inspired clothing.

And then there's super hot zombie girls who have sex with the main character, Zombina, who used to be a Russian ballet dancer before she died.

...basically it's be action-porn. A genre that is sadly lacking.

Goddamn that sounds awesome.

I'd do a zombie apocalypse movie with no actual zombies I think. All the movies go until survival achieved! safe from zombies! fade out live happily ever after - my movie'd START right at that point! Fade in once the zombie threat has stopped, everything is desolate besides the piles of rotting diseased bodies lying around, a ton of stuff is broken/ruined and nothing has electricity but all the structures are mostly intact! Except there's like maybe 5 people left alive in the state. It'd be mentioned in passing that a few straggler zombies remain, but not enough to warrant fear.

It'd be more about how the 'ideal, well-functioning zombie survival group' who DID survive the zombies (that'd be in their backstory) would fare once the threat is removed and there's no danger forcing them to stick together/preventing people from wandering off after arguments and stuff. Nothing is FORCING them together and stuff any more - like threatening each other or the old leader of the survival group trying to be authoritarian wouldn't WORK any more, and all the old arguments from during the zombie invasion come back up because now they DO have time and energy to spare.

They'd need to work together to rebuild and stuff and somehow start lives again but most of them have no idea how does machines besides handphones and Facebook and how does modern living?? even with all the hardware left behind. Then there's the problem of food/disease from all the bodies lying around everywhere.

The group would probably end up breaking apart and the old authoritarian group leader who used to call all the shots for the group has gotten kinda power-trippy and used to being deferred to and thought of as a hero would be the main villain. They owe him! (ETA: he'd probably start rounding up other survivors and trying to form a community to impose his rules on BECAUSE HE KNOWS BEST, and anyone else not in the group gets driven away from limited supplies of safe food/water, and stuff like that. There'd be other people who wish the zombie invasion had lasted longer because now everything is way more complicated. Things were SIMPLE with zombies around.) Then protagonists beat him somehow... and end up right back at square one.

What now?

Something like that!

I enjoyed this. As in I read this straight up like a fic. That I now want to find a fandom for or something.

Ah, the Finding Nemo ending. I like it.

The beginning sort of reminds me Romantically Apocalyptic, at least in terms of the desolate wasteland with just a handful of people left who have a few screws loose.

Finally! A zombie movie I would totally watch!

Seriously, somebody must make this ASAP.

Love this. That's always the most interesting part of any zombie movie for me, dealing with the aftermath of an empty, ravaged, corpse-ridden world. What do you do with all those bodies?

In college, I actually did write about half of a zombie movie for a class. It took place at a high school reunion and featured the main nerd girl character teaming up with a bicurious cheerleader and Ash Williams-ing the zombified football players, and smacking the Nice Guy nerd boy villain around with a bat.

It was pure cheese and not to be taken seriously at all, but it was fun to write!

A zombie woman and a human man fall in love, and overcome their obstacles and get married. They help overturn the anti-zombie marriage law. Zombie and humans start putting aside their differences; turns out they weren't the only non-human couples. The original woman gives birth to a half human child. There is some difficulty with the child being teased for her tendencies to bite, but she eventually finds her own group of friends who don't care about her parentage. There are factions of humans and factions of zombies who wish to destroy the happiness that most humans and zombies have worked through to live in mostly harmonious existence. It's a story of love and triumph.

I could try making a zombie movie, but I don't really want to since the perfection that is Shaun of the Dead already exists. :(

Eh, I'm not too picky. I'm thinking the Zombies won't actually be dead, but are infected by some kind of disease or creature similar to the way snails and caterpillars get infected. So the people are basically shambling wrecks of themselves with the vaguest awareness and horror of what is happening.

They seek out humans to be killed by to pass on the infection. Maybe transferred by fluids/blood.

So while their bodies are trying to provoke humans into killing them, their voices are either begging the person to save them and/or begging the person to kill them so the infected one will stop.

The plot would be humans hiding in high places trying to pick them off at a distance to prevent being killed.

It will conclude with humans learning to adapt to the position of not being an apex predator. The disease will become not be so lethal so the human population doesn't crash and the disease can continue. They will learn to coexist with the disease, adapting their lives to continue on with normal human life and the occasional infection warning/preventive measures to avoid getting ill.
Of course, since we're humans we'll keep trying to find a cure like with the common cold, but it won't happen since the infection adapts just as well and learning to coexist and prevent infection is the main point.

Because I hate how humans always beat the zombie/diseases in movies :U I want some populations learning to adapt and live with a new threat!

Mine would would be sort of like 28 Weeks Later, only without the stupid kids. Showing how easy it would actually be to kill zombies with modern weaponry, to posit to other films how they fuck they write out the military so easily.

Seriously, you wouldn't have to do anything to defeat the zombies but mass produce mines and lay them everywhere. Zombies can't read. Or learn. You could put a big red X over them or even a sign saying THERE'S A MINE HERE for the survivors and then herd the zombies from a helicopter right over the mine field.

Not to mention fucking bombs. If bombs are out because there might be survivors, strafing runs with an AC-130. Think Death from Above" from CoD4, only instead of protecting your SAS team you're protecting your band of survivors. Zombies don't even shoot back! Or use trucks. Or run (most of the time). People tragically underestimate our ability to kill other people. The only thing that keeps people alive these days is the desire to occupy rather than destroy.
