Heh, I came here basically to say the same. I have read it and I've enjoyed it a lot since it kind of reads like a saga. It's a *very* difficult read to stomach if you're not into wordy stuff, but I happen to like it. I can see why others would not, but I didn't know it was considered a freaking masterpiece and that not liking it wasn't acceptable in the fandom. It's just a very different style from the usual type of fic. You don't like it, there's a fuckton of other fics out there that have nothing tto do with it.

I haven't even heard of it before now so I feel it's "masterpiece" status in fandom is being blown a bit out of proportion.

But yeah, lots of fics on the net.
