It seemed like you were implying that there is something wrong with dressing that way ('It's not like OP is out there wearing purple lipstick, tube tops, and miniskirts...'), like you'd still be disgruntled for some reason.

I'm just wondering what you would think of such an outfit, since you considered it worth mentioning.

OP sounds healthy and comfortable. Good for her! I wish more girls/women were as confidant in their bodies as her.

You can be uncomfortable and unhealthy and dress in all kinds of ways.

Not intentionally baiting, no. I thought there was an implicit judgement in your earlier statement, and I did want to see if you'd confirm that impression if I pushed, but it's obvious now I was mistaken. I was hoping for a reaction, but not for the sake of a reaction. Sorry, it seems like I was fighting imaginary enemies again.

This entire topic has set my teeth on edge. I don't actually think Monster High is a particularly feminist friendly brand, but a lot of the criticism of it, and, by extension, the women and girls who dress in similar ways or have similar interests, voiced here don't seem particularly girl friendly either (or at least not friendly towards certain types of girls).
