A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry and Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller. I hate most of Miller's other plays though. ):

Re: Miller: Me too! I still have nightmares about when my high school (advanced placement) English class did The Crucible.

I'm pretty similar on Arthur Miller. After doing on scene work from "All My Sons" for a directing project though, I liked it a lot more than I did before. Once did I had a real relationship with the play, I had to get to know it, and I found some interesting things. I'd probably find the same with just about any play after working on it in depth for some time, but it did make me enjoy that play more.

Lorraine Hansberry! I don't know too much of her stuff beyond "Raisin", but it's very good. I saw a staging of "Toussaint" which she never finished; I'd like to read it at some point.
